Good Tools for Website Designers

As a Denver Website Designer and Graphic Designer, I love finding new tools that help me to design, here are a few new ones I've recently discovered:
Colorzilla Chrome Extension This tool allows you to see the hex color (#F7F7F7) of anything and copy it to your clipboard for easy pasting into Photoshop, the Wix editor, Wordpress editor, etc.
pizap.com Free online photo editor, I recommend this to clients who want to dabble in photo editing. Another good photo/design browser-based tool is Canva.com
This is one of my favorite tools that I've used for years. A great inexpensive place to get vector stock art that can be easily manipulated in Adobe Illustrator. I love using these for icons and graphics – I can customize everything in these vector files, from the colors, to the shapes to the backgrounds, which make it awesome for designing infographics and other graphics for websites and print.
Every icon you desire.
Download videos off of YouTube and other sites – sometimes my website design clients have video commercials that are posted on another YouTube account, and they want to upload it to theirs. YouTube doesn't let you download videos, so this keepvid.com tool let's you download YouTube videos for your use. Of course, don't steal other people's videos!
Lumen5 is a basic and simple video creation tool that let's you VERY QUICKLY create nice looking videos with text, images, video and music. It's the simplest video editor I've found yet, though it's rather limiting in font selection / placement / design – you could design JPGs with text and upload them to this to make a more customized video. I love this tool! View several Lumen5 videos I've created for a local Watercolor Class Instructor in Denver »
