Wix Website Designer for Audubon

As a casual birder and passionate organic gardener that loves to grow native plants for the birds and pollinators, I'm super excited to be designing a new website for for the Lahontan Audubon Society in Nevada. We're in the design concept phase now, can't wait to share the progress as we build out the rest of their pages. Stay tuned!

The new Nevada Audubon website will feature integrated feeds for social media, Google Calendar for events, Audubon's ListServ, plus an online store, volunteer forms, donation forms, birding guides, and so much more. It will be mobile friendly, responsive so it looks good on all devices, and I will train their volunteers and admin people to be able to keep it updated easily over time. We are designing their new website on Wix to replace their old Weebly website, since Weebly was purchased by Square and they are discontinuing all Weebly sites in July 2025. Stay tuned for the launch in 2025!

Shown above is a second website design concept we're working on. I always like to present 2-3 design concepts that I work with clients on so that we can get feedback and work on a finalized concept that has all the elements they are looking for with a design that is user-friendly and mobile-friendly. I will be working with their team and board to finalize the overall layout and template to get it just right. The website will feature their events calendar, conservation tips, birding guides, birding maps, photo contests, and even a feed for bird sightings in the area!
